Sometimes we get asked to do things that are not going to be of any value to us or our student. If no other incentive is offered, then 'no' is a valid response...

Bad News

There is a reason that I stopped consuming news back in January. Caught the tail end of the news tonight by accident and it inspired this cartoon...

Replaceable??

This one was inspired by real events (it's a long story). It is worth noting that true leadership involves having a succession plan so that if one were to leave, one's successor would easily be able to pick up where one left off. Having said that, being told that everyone is replaceable is not a great way to boost staff morale. It's also a really odd way to thank people for years of service.

What Could go Wrong...

This one was prompted by yet another tragic, mass shooting 'incident' in America...

Losing loved ones to violence is something that is unspeakably sad. The fact that politicians and the 'gun lobby' have chosen to allow situations like this to occur beggars belief.
